We still have a couple of spots for our Term 2 employment training course. We use cooking to help people become more confident, build teamwork skills and generally have fun in the kitchen. You will also work alongside our fabulous volunteers to cook meals for our older community members.

Big congratulations to Andrew on achieving this amazing milestone. 👏

Volunteers are essential members of our team, helping with lunches, working in the garden and happily doing many other small jobs we ask of them. Like Andrew, many of our volunteers are also doing great work for other organisations and for the community.

Andrew's milestone started in Geelong in November 1980 in his second year of working. He donated whole blood 26 times, then changed to donating plasma another 74 times. He was then asked to go on the Anti-D program which means you have the RHD factor in your blood. He started on the Anti-D program about 21 years ago, giving 350 Anti-D plasma donations to mums and babies. Note: there are only 200 Anti-D donors in Australia which each donation is broken down into 18 injections for mums and babies.

We think this is absolutely fabulous and shows what a wonderful person Andrew is 🥰. Thank you from all the mums and bubs you have helped over the years. ❤️
