We thought it had been a while since we introduced ourselves! So here goes…

Hi we’re Sam & Caitlyn!

What started as a one-man mobile DJ business in 2010 has grown into a full-service event hire and entertainment business proudly servicing Ballarat and surrounding regions.

From a single DJ setup in 2010 to a business now servicing more than 350 events annually, we are incredibly grateful for the trust our clients place in us to be part of their most important celebrations. Over the years, we’ve been lucky enough to be involved in thousands of weddings, birthdays, school events, corporate functions, baby showers, and everything in between.

As our business has grown, so has our family. We now have two little helpers keeping us busy…Poppy (3) and Teddy (1). Family is at the heart of everything we do, and it’s one of the reasons we’re so passionate about helping others celebrate life’s special moments.

Today, SJH Entertainment & Events offers DJs, Photo Booths, soft play, balloons, backdrops, flower walls, slushy machines, light up numbers and so much more ⚡️

What makes SJH special isn’t just what we offer, it’s the care and attention we put into every booking. We know every event represents a special milestone!

It’s hard to believe we’re over halfway through Debutante Ball season!

Over the past five weeks, I’ve had the pleasure of working as both Master of Ceremonies and DJ at a number of Debutante Balls in Ballarat, helping celebrate with thousands of debutantes, partners, their family members and friends.

It’s certainly been a busy few weeks. Alongside the Debutante Balls, our team also provided entertainment and event services for more than 30 events throughout May, making it one of our busiest periods of the year.

Every night has been different, but one thing they all have in common is the incredible effort that goes on behind the scenes. From the committees and volunteers to the families and participants, it’s always great to see so many people come together to create such a special night!

I genuinely enjoy being part of these events each year and helping create lasting memories for everyone involved. From introducing the formal presentations, watching proud families during the proceedings, to seeing the dance floor come alive later in the night, it’s always a fantastic couple of months.

A big thank you to everyone who has welcomed me into their events so far. There are still another four weeks to go until our last Deb of the season, and I’m looking forward to meeting more wonderful people and being part of many more memorable nights!
