We’re all about the classic moments.

The romantic first dance. The hype grand entrance. The kind of moments that sometimes get labeled as cringe or cheesy.

Of course, each to their own. Your wedding should feel like you. But don’t let the magic of some of these moments get lost in the planning pressure cooker.

These can be some of the defining moments that guests remember for years to come, and gently create the highlight reel that is your wedding day.

While it’s true that some things can be overdone, there is always a way to make something yours. Careful song selection and curation of the mood is one of the best ways to make it feel more personal.

Not only that, some structure really helps guests through the night. People NEED direction and something to look forward to, and most folks like a little help when it comes to breaking ice come party time. The classic moments help set the stage for a great party, and a great DJ will help you feel comfortable within them.

Lauren & Damian absolutely nailed the moments of their wedding. It was a timeless celebration of love, followed by a raging dance floor.
They thought of all the details, their vendor team was flawless & it turned into the kind of wedding that will be remembered for a long time to come.

March weddings are something special, the weather is on its best behaviour, people are back in the party mood after hectic Christmas’s and it’s easy to see why it’s one of the busiest times of year for us!

J & S chose the gorgeous to hold there love fest, and once the sun dipped below the horizon the vibes went up accordingly 👌🏻

had a selection of tunes from all eras for the mixed crowd and it went down a treat with the Dancefloor full from start to finish - A little Hillary duff was a good dose of nostalgia for the girls while the high energy mixing from Levi kept the crowd engaged, singing and dancing the night away ✨

Only the best vibes for these two legends and there crew!

We absolutely LOVE working at any of the venues Nat has the reigns in, and it’s so cool that all the efforts on our side don’t go unnoticed!

We definitely pride ourselves on being as easy as possible to work with while exceeding the expectations of our couples wherever we can.

Big love to all the vendors out there putting in the work, especially at this time of year when we are all in the trenches together!

THESE LEGENDS NEED A SHOUT OUT STAT!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​In my role as a Wedding Venue Coordinator, this team has popped up on repeat.

From a venue perspective, they are incredibly easy to work with - respectful, organised, low maintenance, and just damn good humans.

From a couples' perspective - they are awesome at their craft. Able to read a crowd, easy to communicate with and know the best tunes to get a dancefloor heaving.

So a big shout out today to Deep DJ Co for just being legends in this industry.

Katie + Andrew had all the ingredients for such a killer wedding, a super team assembled at an epic location made for one hell of a night ❤️‍🔥

They had a little of everything on there playlist, but both agreed on one thing - as little wedding cheese & pub rock as possible, and big party vibes which for us, ain’t no thang.
This allowed to build some massive energy & climax in epic fashion with some of their fav tunes like The Wombats, Gang of Youths and Two Door Cinema Club to close out the night. And they absolutely killed it on the dance floor.

They finished on GOY - Magnolia, which might just get a look in for the best finishing song of the last decade. Full banger!

It might just be us, but we say to hell with same-same wedding playlists. Your tunes should match your vibe, not be pulled - in order - from a top 100 weddings songs of all time Spotify playlist.

Moral of the story? Don’t be afraid to be yourself & decide the tone of your wedding. And hire a good DJ that can deliver that ✌🏼
