There’s something about a classic black + white wedding that will never go out of style… but Emma & Lachlan made it feel completely their own.

From the all-white florals and candlelight to the personalised ribbon place settings, vintage-inspired heart cake and those little pearlescent cake servers WEDDING ACCESSORIES FOR THE MODERN BRIDE — every detail felt considered, romantic and effortlessly elegant.

And then the formalities were done and the party well and truly started. Heart-shaped sunnies, cake kisses, sunset glow and being hoisted onto shoulders on the dance floor… exactly how a wedding night should end.

A reminder that you can keep your styling timeless and refined, while still letting your personalities come through in every part of the day.

Their first look in our forest…

This was actually a first for Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer, photographing a couple amongst this little pocket of rainforest at The Old Dairy — and safe to say, these photos did not disappoint.

The light filtering through the trees, that incredible veil moment, the laughter, the quiet little looks between them… it feels romantic, intimate and a little bit magical. And judging by those smiles, Emma & Lachlan had an absolute ball doing it too.

I think our forest may officially need to become a regular photo stop after seeing these.

From vows overlooking the Hinterland to running off across the rolling green hills together, these two made the most beautiful day completely their own. And can we take a moment for Rachel’s incredible lace gown, those white florals and the boots hiding underneath?

Jaide & Ethan, looking every bit as timeless as their day felt.

Classic black tie, the most beautiful bridal look, that incredible lace veil and the rolling green hills of Maleny creating the dreamiest backdrop for their newlywed portraits.

What started as a beautiful outdoor ceremony quickly turned into one of those wedding-day moments you simply can’t plan for.

The ceremony had begun, everyone was settled in… and then came a sudden, unexpected DOWNPOUR — one that even the BOM seemed to have missed!

Rather than wait it out and wonder what the weather was going to do next, we made the call to move straight into our wet weather option, getting everything ready so the ceremony could continue without missing a beat.

And in true beautiful Jaide style, she wasn’t upset in the slightest.

Her response? She got to have two weddings.

One ceremony started outside surrounded by the Hinterland, and another continued inside, cosy and intimate with the rain falling around them.

It was such a perfect reminder that sometimes the unexpected parts of a wedding day become the moments you remember most. You can plan every tiny detail, check the forecast a hundred times and have every contingency in place… but ultimately, you just have to embrace whatever the day gives you.

And Jaide & Ethan absolutely did.

Two ceremony locations. One very unexpected downpour. One beautiful marriage. And a wedding story they’ll be telling forever.

Beautiful Jade.

There’s something so timeless about those quiet moments before the ceremony.

Soft morning light, a beautifully structured gown, the most delicate lace veil and an all-white bouquet — every detail of this bridal look felt effortlessly elegant.

We especially love these moments tucked away inside the cottage, when everything slows down for just a little while before the day truly begins.

And that lace catching the sunlight… perfection.

A beautiful reminder that sometimes the simplest details make the biggest impact.

Soft, modern and quietly romantic.

These reception details were such a beautiful example of how simple styling can still make a statement — neutral linen, white chairs, delicate candlelight, gold cutlery and pops of coral, peach and soft pink florals bringing the whole space to life.

Set against the warmth of the Barn, the clean lines and sculptural florals felt fresh and refined, while still letting the view and the venue speak for themselves.

A reminder that sometimes it’s the thoughtful little details — a beautifully set table, layered textures, and the glow of candlelight — that create the most beautiful atmosphere for your celebration.
