Taking heavy influence from my favourite novel, Dracula I designed this moodboard to provide a heavy contrast against the beauty of the South West.

Can you imagine a venue with heavy draping in dark red tones opening up to the beauty of our iconic vineyards, arrgh it would be divine!

It feels moody, decadent and excessively romantic. A south west wedding has never looked so hauntingly beautiful ❤️

You've been scrolling Pinterest seeing the same wedding everywhere, so let me show you how you can pull inspo to create the most epic withcy / magical wedding of your dreams!

I imagine this being a wedding absolutely surrounded in nature, with your ceremony taking place at dusk under the tree canopy. You would move into your reception space where it feels like the warmest hug as you feast under the moon light on long banquet tables. There is an eclectic mismatch of crockery and cutlery, vintage lounges and the most glorious assortment of candles, crystals and blooms as far the eye can see.

As the night progresses you and your guests dance under the stars until only your closest people remain.

If I’m honest, this has been SO hard to keep a secret, mostly because I’m genuinely so passionate about what I’ve been creating behind the scenes.

After 6 years in the wedding industry and being part of hundreds of incredible weddings, I started noticing a pattern.

Modern couples want more than just a beautiful wedding.

They want a celebration that actually feels like *them.*
One that values connection over perfection.
One that isn’t built around what a wedding “should” look like but around who they are and the story they’re telling.

Because the weddings people remember most?
They’re never the perfectly curated ones.

They’re the ones filled with personality, energy, emotion and those perfectly imperfect moments that make the whole day unforgettable.

So I decided to create a space that celebrates exactly that.

So you want a wedding that screams you and your love story but you just don’t know where to start or how to make that happen.

And I totally get that!

Not only is it hard to visualise how everything will come together but also what do you choose to focus on to make your guests say "woah that was 100% them!"

2025, what a year!

• 33 weddings and 33 very loved up, very wonderful couples (still pinching myself) ❤️

• Over 12,000km travelled across the South West, from Bunbury to Pemberton, Margaret River and just about everywhere in between

• An average of 22,000 steps per wedding… which explains why I’m absolutely done by the end of the night

• An average of 80 guests per celebration, with the largest at 130 and the most intimate at 40

• Worked at five brand new venues (hello, new favourites)

• Collaborated with some truly incredible vendors and met so many new faces along the way

• Decided to be slightly unhinged and run three styled shoots in one day. Zero regrets!

• Cried, laughed, problem solved and ate far too many lollies along the way

Here’s to wrapping up an unforgettable 2025 and stepping into 2026 with fresh ideas, full hearts and very comfortable shoes 🥂
