There and back again! 250km of hiking through some of the toughest terrain over 15 days. I can’t begin to describe what we’ve seen along the way - feelings of awe and wonder and love for country. Merc Goss was an absolute diamond. She fell 2m from a rock face, luckily landing in a small pool of water, injuring her knee. She kept going for the next 12 days, smiling through the pain, and all the while my heart growing for her. I will miss looking up at the stars at night, making wishes fr each shooting star, and basking in the peace and silence

It’s been two weeks of meetings and emails and wedding ceremonies, with the last wedding yesterday. The next one is at the end of July, so we are off! 230km hike along the Larapinta Trail in central Australia. Hope to post along the track as we go. Wish us well!
