Now you see me, mostly you wont!

I'm pretty much a pro at staying OUT of your ceremony photos, (definitely no 3rd wheeling during a kiss, EVER!). My positioning is refined. I'll come hang with you for your ring exchange, maybe your vows too if holding each others hand for steadying is your vibe. Even then I'm at such an angle your photographer can capture the moment with me mostly hidden!

Trust me when I say, future you will be happy to have your ceremony photos featuring you and your people, only. Thankful you chose one heck of a celebrant, who knows a thing or 10, when it comes to the 1 percenters that make your ceremony rock 😉

🌿 HI, I’M ANNA 🌿

Marriage celebrant, storyteller, people-person and a very big fan of weddings that actually feel like you.

I’m based in beautiful Albany, WA, and lucky enough to marry wonderful humans all across the Great Southern (… always happy to travel a little further for a good love story!).

My approach to ceremonies is pretty simple — relaxed, warm, genuine and with plenty of personality. No awkward, overly formal wedding scripts here. I want you to feel completely comfortable; to smile, have a laugh, a cry, to soak it all in and walk away thinking, that was so us.

I’m a mum to two ripper kiddos, a proud wifey to the best man I know, a lover of the outdoors, a little bit gypsy - a tiny bit hippie, a lover of good humans, my pupper, a marghi or a cold b**r and always solid tunes. We divide our time between our home in leafy Little Grove, and our cutest little shack at Cheynes Beach. Life is GOOD!

After all these years, I still genuinely love what I do. Getting to hear people’s stories, meeting their families and friends, and standing alongside them for one of the biggest moments of their lives, it is pretty darn special.

Luca & Su ❤️‍🔥

Ahhhh Su and Luca.

Today is the first day of a beautiful new chapter for these two.

She is from Burma, he is from Italy, and somewhere along their adventures they found each other. And they chose this little corner of the world to make a life together.

There was (STRONG) sea air, windswept hair, plenty of laughter and the kind of carefree joy that makes photographing love a joy.

Congratulations to this gorgeous pair. May your marriage be full of adventure, curiosity, big laughs and the feeling of always being exactly where you’re meant to be.

Well hello, world… it’s been a while 👋🏼

I’ve been a littttttle quiet around here, though certainly not on the wedding front. Somewhere along the way, I ticked over 300 ceremonies — which feels a little wild when I stop and think about it.

300+ love stories, plenty of laughs, happy tears, beautiful places and memorable “I dos”. 🤍

And here’s the best part. After all these years, I still genuinely love what I do.

So, here I am again — not promising to show up in the ways Meta would like me to, and definitely not promising I’ll post regularly.

In fact, I’m not making any promises at all. Except one as I head off today for my first wedding of the season, to continue showing up for my couples — the best way I know how. 🤍
