Our famous local chilli mud crab with a Hemmingway Daiquiri or barbequed tiger prawns with a Mojito quickly dispenses this myth! You certainly can't miss the Rum wall, but you definitely can't walk past the local seafood on display either. Often the bartenders are in the kitchen in search of cocktail inspiration. However from our “Retro banana fritters” drizzled in “house spiced Rum syrup” to “Rum and pepper painted fish”, it is impossible to keep the chefs away from the Rum! Open 7 days a week. 7am

Thinking about doing Christmas in a box with our partners at Whitsunday provisioning using some of our favourites. Beautiful sous vide butterfly lemon an thyme chicken with all the trimmings,(just flash through a hot oven for 10 minutes to serve) carved leg ham, prawns, bay bugs, lovely Christmas salads , mango & passionfriut pavlova, cherries and chocolates. Will be based on groups of minimum of 3 up to whatever at about $69 pp. will progress if any interest.

What do they say about imitation being the sincerest form of flattery!! Somebody else, I guess off Hamo, or Hayman, having a crack at doing a lovely lunch on a whitsunday beach. At least helps people who think white on Whitehaven is too expensive come to terms with just how much these costs to put on. Barges, transfers, hire gear, permits, staff….do these guys plan on a great brass band?? 20 guests $2500 per person. Puts our day into perspective
