The true art of DJ’ing is said to be able to create a vibe in any room, to be able to select records and perform them in such a way as to create a positive feeling in that surrounding environment. For Riverland selector Francesco Perre his journey of creativity began at the age of 16. Inspired by his first experience of a DJ at a underage music festival in Adelaide, Francesco was encapsulated by the way this man was able to control a large room of patrons with song transitions and tempo changes.

After that experience almost 3 years ago Francesco has dedicated himself religiously to the art of DJ’ing. Self taught, this selector has held down residencies and made appearances at venues such as HQ Complex, Blackbull on Hindley Street, Ramsgate Hotel, Schoolies Festival in Victor Harbour, and Inflation in Melbourne. More recently Francesco performed at Adelaide's Hidden Music Festival for a sold out hometown show to finish off 2018. Throughout his career he has had the opportunity to support major Australian acts such as Tigerlilly, Press Play, Nathan Thomson, Teddy Cream, Krunk & more.

With Nightclubs and festivals across the southern coast of Australia satisfied this artist has ever so slightly pivoted and created a monthly podcast series titled The Franseshco Cast. This podcast is dedicated to all of the current music that Francesco is performing as well as listening to. This online selection has seen this artist clock up an amazing amount of support both locally and internationally. With his sights set on conquering the next frontier; music production 2019 is shaping up to be the biggest year to date.
