So, every wedding you’ve ever been to has involved a special someone by them coming up and doing a reading from something they had found on the internet? It’s sweet, but not your vibe? Wanting to still involve that special someone, but do something fresh?
Well... I have some ideas for you 🕯️
❥ Storytelling during the ceremony. Ask your sibling, your friends or your parents to prepare a few words and come up during key ceremony points to share their favourite memory of you as a couple, their advice or their very first impression of you both. This keeps your guests engaged while adding that special sentimental touch.
❥ Assign them to have a key role of bringing the rings forward, the vow keeper or as a witness. These options are still so special but perfect for that person who is a little shy.
❥ Have your special someone submit a few words that they have written for me to include in your script. This way, their words are still included, but you know there won’t be any added surprises!
