It is expressly acknowledged and agreed by the hirer that:
1. A valid Driver’s Licence is required for all hires.
2. Upon the hiring of any costume or accessory, a Security Bond shall be paid. The amount required is at the sole discretion of Chaos Bazaar.
3. In booking a costume or accessory for a future date, a Security Bond must be paid at the time of booking to secure the items. Cancellation
will incur a fee of $25.
4. If you pay your bond in cash, your Security Bond will be returned as cash. If you pay your bond via EFTPOS or Credit, your Security Bond will be refunded to the exact card originally used only.
5. All hire items returned after the agreed upon due date will incur a Late Return Fee, unless Chaos Bazaar is contacted prior with a reasonable explanation. The Late Return Fee will be charged at 50% of the original hire fee for each day that they remain unreturned. The Late Return Fee is at the sole discretion of Chaos Bazaar.
6. All hire items returned as damaged, with lost elements or accessories, or dirty above and beyond what is deemed “normal wear” will be charged for repair, replacement or excess laundry. This may or may not be covered by the Security Bond. The amount charged will be assessed on a case by case basis, and is at the sole discretion of Chaos Bazaar.
7. The Security Bond shall be refunded in full to the hirer only upon the complete return of all hired items, being in the same condition as at the time of hire.
8. In the event of a costume, wig or accessory not being returned within 2 days of the return due date, and if all attempts to contact the hirer are unsuccessful, Chaos Bazaar shall, without prejudice to any other rights, be at liberty to notify Police and take such action (in all things at the expense of the hirer) as shall be considered necessary in the discretion of Chaos Bazaar to secure the return of the item or compensation for its loss.
