5, 4, 3, 2, 1… showtime. 🎮🔥

This was our biggest AVCon production yet, with a completely upgraded Main Stage and full production across multiple areas throughout the venue.

Behind it were multiple truckloads, three days of setup, two days of live operation and an enormous team effort across lighting, audio, vision, staging, cameras and streaming.

Seeing the venue come alive with packed rooms and sold-out shows made every hour worthwhile. The feedback from the AVCon team has been incredibly positive, and we’re extremely proud of what our crew delivered from start to finish.

Poster Boy is officially open. 👀

We’ve recently completed the lighting and audio installation at the newest venue from the team behind Two Suns, BCKYRD and Girl Next Door.

Mirror-ball effects, moving heads and speakers across both levels, all designed to bring the venue to life once the sun goes down.

We also supply the DJs each week across all four venues, so you can expect to see plenty of familiar faces behind the decks. 🎶

A week ago, we were honoured to play a small part in creating a beautiful farewell for someone very special to our family.

It was a privilege to help bring her wishes to life and celebrate a life well lived.

After everything that’s happened over the past few weeks, the day put everything into perspective. It was a gentle reminder that material things come and go, but the moments we share with the people we love are what truly matter. ❤️

A little over a week ago, we shared that more than $30,000 worth of our professional DJ and audio equipment had been stolen.

We honestly never expected the response.

The support from our customers, the event industry and the wider community has been incredible. We’ve received hundreds of comments and messages, along with a number of genuine leads from people wanting to help. We’ve also heard from businesses across Australia and around the world who have unfortunately experienced something similar.

To everyone who has watched, commented, shared or reached out, thank you. It genuinely means a lot to our whole team.

The investigation is still ongoing, so we can’t comment on everything publicly just yet.

We’re still looking for:

• 2 × Pioneer CDJ-3000s
• 1 × Pioneer DJM-A9 mixer
• 2 × RCF NXL44-A speakers

🚨 STOLEN PROFESSIONAL DJ & AUDIO EQUIPMENT – $1,000 REWARD 🚨

Unfortunately, JP Light & Sound has been the victim of a fraudulent hire, resulting in the loss of some of our most important professional DJ and audio equipment.

As a small South Australian business, this equipment represents years of hard work and investment. It’s the gear we rely on every week to deliver events and support our family, our team and the clients who trust us with their events.

We’re offering a $1,000 reward for information that directly leads to the recovery of all of the missing equipment.

The missing equipment includes:
• 2 × Pioneer CDJ-3000 media players
• 1 × Pioneer DJM-A9 mixer
• 2 × RCF NXL44-A MK2 speakers
• 1 × Custom illuminated aluminium truss DJ table

These are specialised pieces of professional equipment that are rarely sold through legitimate private sales.

If you’ve been offered any of this equipment, seen it advertised, or have any information that could help, please send us a private message.

Even if you think it’s nothing, please reach out. One small piece of information could be the lead that brings our equipment home. We’d much rather receive 100 messages that lead nowhere than miss the one that matters.
