The City of Port Lincoln is very excited to announce the much-loved Tunarama Festival is making its long-awaited return from 16-18 January 2026, promising a revitalised festival that captures the heart and soul of Port Lincoln.

In an exciting new chapter, Council has appointed SRO Events, a leading professional event management company, to deliver the reimagined festival. With a strong track record in managing high-quality, large-scale events, SRO Events is committed to collaborating closely with the community to ensure Tunarama 2026 reflects the authentic spirit of Port Lincoln.

The Tunarama Festival will continue to feature the much-loved favourites - including the famous Tuna Toss, the vibrant street parade, and the popular fireworks display - while also shining a spotlight on Port Lincoln's proud reputation as the Seafood Capital of Australia.

As part of the festival planning, Council invites community members to be part of the Tunarama Reference Group by submitting an Expression of Interest between Thursday 10 April to Monday 5 May 2025. The group will provide advice and guidance to Council and SRO Events to help shape the future of this iconic event.
