Marco and Dario from Nonna’s Cucina oversee a not-for-profit business that delivers over 500 meals a day to elderly residents of Adelaide’s East. I had breakfast with them today and can confirm the food is excellent! A Heartfelt Thank You to Holman Hodge 💛

Today, Marco, Dario and Mel had the pleasure of visiting the Holman Hodge office in the city to share more about the important work we do at Nonna’s Cucina.

We are incredibly grateful to Holman Hodge for their generous $5,000 donation, which will go directly towards supporting our mission of delivering nutritious meals and meaningful connections to those in need across our community.

It was also a wonderful opportunity to discuss how Holman Hodge can get involved further through corporate volunteering and sponsorship opportunities. We’re excited about what the future holds and thankful for partners like them who believe in giving back.

Last night, we had the honour of attending the Volunteering SA&NT Awards Night, celebrating the incredible people who give so much to our community.

A huge congratulations to our very own Nancy and Rosa, who were nominated for the prestigious Joy Noble Medal Award, and to our General Manager, Dario, nominated for the Excellence in Volunteer Management Award! 🎉👏

We are so proud of their dedication and passion – and their nominations are just one example of the many amazing people who volunteer with us. Each and every volunteer plays a vital role, making a real impact within our organisation and in the lives of those we serve every day.

As National Volunteer Week comes to a close, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of our volunteers. Your time, your heart, and your efforts are what keep our mission going. 💙

We are thrilled to welcome Michael Costantini as the new President of Nonna’s Cucina! 🎉 Michael brings with him a wealth of experience and a deep passion for our mission — we’re excited for what lies ahead under his leadership.

At the same time, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Rebecca Staltari for her outstanding leadership and dedication during her term. 💐 Under Rebecca’s guidance, Nonna’s Cucina experienced tremendous growth and made the major move to our new home in Holden Hill — a relocation that has truly future-proofed our services for years to come.
