Our 2025/2026 cinema season is just around the corner and we are on the hunt for Cinema Operators to join our existing team and support with our continuously growing workload! 🎉😍

If you are looking to spend your summer nights watching movie classics under the stars at some of Adelaide’s top locations then this job is for you! Our cinema season typically runs from October through to April however, the right person will have the ability to continue on with us for future seasons.

To be considered for a Cinema Operator position with Adelaide Outdoor Cinema you must possess the following:

👉 Valid ABN
👉 Valid Driver’s License and own method of transport
👉 Availability to work Friday and Saturday afternoons and nights during the contracted period
👉 Heavy lifting will be required
👉 Flexibility with start and finish times is essential

Qualifications
👉 Experience in Audio Visual set up and operation is ideal but not essential
👉 Ability to work as part of a team and independently
👉 Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
👉 Ability to work well in a fast paced environment
👉 Excellent organisational and time management skills
👉 Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
👉 Effective communication skills
👉 A terrific sense of humour 😜

We want to take this opportunity to thank every one of our clients, audience members and social media followers for your support across our 2024/2025 cinema season! We have had a very busy year and our most successful year so far since we took over AOC in 2020. Words honestly can’t describe how grateful we are 🎉❤️

We have a few private events left before we wrap up for any outdoor screenings however, we are still available throughout the winter months for indoor events! Our 2.5M, 3.5M, 4M and 5M screens are perfect for most indoor spaces! Reach out to our team via phone or email to find out which screen size would suit you best. 😁

Popular indoor screening venues include: school gyms (OSHC school holidays is always a popular one!), wineries, community centres and halls.
