Capturing your family or wedding day in my mind is not simply about just getting someone to just do it - because you may as well get Aunty Joan to do the job and, well if she hits the sherry, who knows how the images will turn out like?! Okay - going off track - but honestly, it's in my nature to want to get to know you a little so that I can capture you in the best way that is you. I love using t

he sun to create beautiful warm and gorgeous shots that you will love. Shooting outdoors is my favourite place to be as it makes the photos more interesting and generally children are more relaxed. With the days moving so fast, life seems to fly by in a wink. Which is what I love about capturing families over the years - holding onto that moment, that sweet age or precious memory in someone's life. And I believe it's my job to create that for you.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted! Life has got busy but I’ve still been out and about photographing clients! In a recent clean up I have a couple of prints from a wedding exhibition I did years ago and wondered if these lovely clients would like the prints (they are branded). I simply can’t throw them out!! There are shots of 2 couples and I’d love to pass them on! Let me know if you guys want them!

I recently captured Chelsea and Karen of down at the beautiful Grange Beach. We worked inside first capturing some 'on the job' shots with a client and then moved to the breach for some more relaxed teamy shots. The weather and lighting could not have been more beautiful and perfect! Thanks for having me girls.

And a side note - we met at a recent SA Woman event, so thank you for your connection goddess work!

December 1 - this is the date I start to document every day in the lead up to Christmas (thank you for the long term inspiration since 2008 I've been doing this project!). I can't wait to share some of our December Daily adventures - a new Santa picture is on the agenda!!

Beautiful warmer summer nights are coming! I can't wait for more family shoots at one of the many beautiful spots I work in and to capture some crazy kids (and parents!) - which is all part of the fun, right?!!

Branding photoshoot planning moment! Even after 20 years I will still sit and plan my shoots with little sketches, that way I can remind myself of a pose but have artistic license to adjust as required to suit my client, the backdrop and style we are going for (vs looking at another persons photo as inspiration). Looking forward to getting stuck into this one tomorrow morning!! Aaaaand sharing some photos later!

Last week I worked with Carly again, this time capturing her branding photoshoot. Carly is entering the world of Hypnobirthing Australia education. In our planning we wanted to create a beautiful collection of images that would emulate calmness, tranquility, a beautiful experience and empowerment. Wednesday afternoon could not have been a better day to pick to do our shoot at the beach. It was warm, the calmest I've seen it in ages (at that time of the day) and all round gorgeous! A perfect fit for a beautiful session. Now onto Carly's website to launch her business!

Back in Blossom Studio for 2024. I have been away for the core of the Blossom (visiting my bestie in Hobart) so I didn't think I would get in there this season! It was, of course, one of the best seasons (darn it!). Nonetheless I got there with a couple of clients. Here is Carly (great name right!), one of my new website build clients who took advantage of her headshot and branding shoot package with her new website build. We are both super happy to have connected when we did to take advantage of the blossom and amazing weather last week.

The girls! A past shoot that I don't think I ever shared this shot as there were so many lovely ones. When chatting with families to work out the combinations we really work on capturing as many combos as possible. I do love one with a few generations, especially when the littlies are so tiny! A sweet memory for this family
