My nephews baby shower 💙 Please read Emmett’s story 🧸

My beautiful nephew Emmett Mark Geissler. Arriving on the 16th of June at 1:58pm
On the 18th of June Emmett decided it was time to grow his wings and become an angel, in his parents arms the safest place he could be he went to sleep surrounded by so much love.
Emmett was diagnosed at 31+3 weeks with a rare condition VOGM. Despite this Emmett showed his true character and fought to be here and meet his family. It’s a powerful thing what love can do.
Using the quote my incredible sister Mikahla has chosen ‘An angel wrote in the Book of Life my baby’s date of birth, then whispered as she closed the book, “too beautiful for earth”.’
This October, our family is fundraising in Emmett’s honour, with the hope of raising $40,000 to create an Emmett Bear through Bears of Hope.
Emmett will always be so deeply loved and forever remembered. Creating this bear would be a beautiful way to honour his life and offer comfort to other families who are experiencing the unimaginable loss of a baby.
