Hi everyone

For those that don't know, Sunday 26/9 Crystal had a brain bleed and Tuesday 28/9 she had emergency surgery to rectify the fistula that was the cause.

Crystal was born with a heart condition that has affected her throughout her life and unfortunately made recovery from surgery a challenge for the experts.

The surgery went well. The Neuro team are happy with how the brain is looking, however her body is fighting back and is still in a medical coma to let her body not have to manage it's functions so it can focus all its energy into healing. She will be in this state for a couple days, and will likely be in hospital for a while after to recover.

Thankyou to everyone that has sent their support to Crystal & her family, we all appreciate it dearly. We cannot accept any flowers or visitors at the moment due to being in ICU. Once things improve I will update everyone.

As for Party Designs; we will look at each coming order and work out if we can manage without Crystal, we will be in contact with everyone when we get a chance. As you can understand it has been a very stressful time for us, and we will do our best to assist everyone where we can.

Crystal has also done a lot of fundraising for Starlight through the Northern Lights Theatre Company; she appreciates everything that everyone has sent. Crystal didn't get a chance to collate everything for the giveaway and raffle before she went for the surgery. Im unsure if we will get a chance to do so without Crystal this week, but I will try to get things together to get it happening. If I have missed anything. Please send Crystal a message and I will look at it and action it if I'm able to.

Thanks again for the love, kind words and support, it has blown me away how many people care about Crystal, I know she will appreciate it when she wakes up

I should also mention that she is a Silver & Gold medalist from her hip hop & jazz routines at the state comps she was at when she experienced the brain bleed. Crystal was very proud of her medals and jacket showing she is a champion

Hey, Party Designs is excited to be collaborating with Northern Light Theatre Company for their upcoming October production of FROZEN at the Shedley Theatre!

NLTC are selling chocolates for $5 each to help raise money for the Starlight Foundation. Inside the chocolates, people will have the chance to WIN 2 FREE TICKETS to their next show! We’re also introducing a fun “Collect Every Character” challenge of the cast!
To make this even more exciting, we would love to support and showcase other small businesses by adding additional prizes into the chocolates.
Prizes can be anything big or small
a voucher, product, service or anything you’d love to offer. There will be 11 shows!
