Your wedding experience starts long before the big day

One of my favourite things about including an engagement session in my wedding packages is getting to know my couples, having a little fun together, and helping you feel comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day arrives.

And don’t worry if you feel a little awkward at first most couples do! My job is to make the experience feel relaxed, natural and full of laughter, so you can simply enjoy being together while I capture the magic.

This was one of those really special weddings where you don’t just get to photograph a couple’s love story you leave feeling like you’ve made new friends.

From the moment we met, these two were so warm, genuine and easy to be around. I’m so grateful I got to be there to capture such an incredible day and all the little moments in between.

A little behind the scenes of what this job really means to me
Yes, I get to take beautiful photos.
Yes, I get to be there for the big moments.
But honestly… it’s the people that make me love this job so much.

I get to walk into a wedding day as a photographer or videographer and somehow leave feeling like I’ve made new friends. I get to laugh with you, cry with you, calm the nerves, fix the little things, sneak you away for a moment when you need to breathe, and be right there in the middle of all the beautiful chaos.

And then there are moments like these… where I’m not just capturing the memories I’m part of them. 🥹
I absolutely adore my couples. I love getting to know your stories, your families, your quirks, your love and all the little things that make your day uniquely yours.

This is so much more than taking photographs for me.
It’s the connection.
It’s the trust.
It’s being invited into one of the most important days of your life.
And I never, ever take that for granted.
If you have invited me to capture your day, thank you for letting me be there. Thank you for trusting me. And thank you for letting me become a tiny part of your story.
