Tapiwa Svosve (b. 1995) is a musician and theorist whose multidisciplinary practice brings sound into dialogue with theatre, painting, and historical inquiry. Based in Zurich, Switzerland, Svosve’s work enjoys a unique temperament that spans extreme avant-gardism, free jazz, and noise music. Thinking through silence, negative space, solo performance, and the negotiations between body and instrument, he adapts music and sound to develop various physical and performative techniques. A longtime organiser in Switzerland’s experimental music scene, he has used public spaces to locate and explore the boundaries between commercial, theatrical, and underground communities. In 2024, he was awarded the Swiss Music Prize.
Mzamo Nondlwana is a q***r, non-binary performing artist originally from Johannesburg, South Africa and currently based in Vienna, Austria. Their work focuses on marginalized bodies and seeks to subvert colonial fantasies.
In 2006, they began their formal dance training at Moving Into Dance Mophatong (South Africa). In 2007, they worked with Arrep Theatre for Life. In 2009, they moved to Salzburg, where they completed their formal dance education at SEAD, specializing in contemporary dance and choreography.
zey is a Prague born DJ, interdisciplinary artist, sound designer, sound engineer and community organiser based in Vienna. Their creativity is a tool of liberation - their own and of others. They point to the deeper musical connections between diverse Black contemporary cultural landscapes while honoring their distinctive musical traditions. Genre is not as important to them as making people feel and dance. Since 2017, they have been an active force in organising QTI*BIPOC safer space parties in Czech Republic and Austria, and are currently a member of Vienna-based club night collectives Spice Mixers and BLK TLC. Among other platforms, their mixes have aired on Prague’s Radio Punctum, LYL Radio Paris, Brussel's Kiosk Radio, Accra's Oroko Radio and Dhaka’s Ghurni listening sessions. They're known for breaking beats and keeping it fast.
