Mental Decay is a Drum & Bass, Jungle, Dub, Footwork and Bass music DJ from Vienna (Austria) with more than a decade of experience behind the decks. In recent years Mental Decays focus shifted from playing multi-genre sets to mainly Drum & Bass in all it's different colours. Occasionally Mental Decay appears on Austrias national radio station FM4 in their "Dogs Bollocks" and "Digital Konfusion Mi
xshow" program, where he still represents the Dub/Footwork/Jungle sound that brought him to DJing. Since 2009 Mental Decay supported acts like Culture Shock, Serial Killaz, Aries, Urbandawn, QZB, Ownglow, BCee and Changing Faces just to name a few, and played at events such as NuForms Festival, the Cultiva Hemp Expo or the Iron City Beats Festival. In 2012 Mental Decay co-founded an artist collective called “Smokin’ Basses”, alongside the Lower-Austrian veteran DJs Stoma and Hinch. Since 2017 he’s part of the Booyah! Crew, spreading the Jungle and Ragga Drum & Bass vibes alongside unics (Vollkontakt) and Pandora (Switch! Recordings). In 2019 Mental Decay joined The Liquid Collective, a Viennese crew focusing on Liquid and Deep Drum & Bass. The Liquid Collective
