Beschreibung / description:

The Vienna Mozart Orchestra plays concerts with internationally renowned singers and soloists – all in magnificent historical costumes and wigs and creates a special atmosphere in Vienna’s largest and most famous Concert halls, like State Opera and Musikverein. In the style of ‘musical academies’, as in Vienna concerts were known in Mozart’s time, the audience enjoy single movements from symphonies and solo concertos, as well as operatic overtures, arias and duets from especially popular and well-known works. The Vienna Mozart Concerts even fulfil the wishes of the Stauss lovers by performing the most impressing pieces by the Strauss Dynasty, such as ‘The Blue Danube Waltz’ and ‘The Radetzy March’. For sure you will enjoy the Vienna Mozart Orchestra and ‘the best of Mozart and Strauss’! Further information: www.mozart.wien

Who knows where the music will take us this year… any guesses? ✨

Mozart wrote some of his most tender music for two voices — especially soprano/tenor and soprano/baritone duets. Pieces like “Là ci darem la mano” from Don Giovanni and “Papageno, Papagena!” from Die Zauberflöte are built as dialogues between two people, full of flirtation, promise, and intimacy. He uses close harmonic lines, call-and-response phrases, and overlapping melodies to make the two singers feel like they’re becoming one.

Hear this chemistry live in Vienna: the Wiener Mozart Konzert performs Mozart’s most beloved arias and duets with an orchestra of top Viennese musicians, keeping this tradition exactly where it was born. 🎻✨

Mozart’s last work, the Requiem, has this almost otherworldly story around it. A stranger in dark clothes asked him to compose music for a funeral and wouldn’t say for whom. Mozart, already very weak and tired, started to believe he was writing it for himself.

He didn’t live to finish it — his friends and students completed it after his death so it could still be heard.
Today the Requiem isn’t just “scary.” It’s powerful, emotional, and incredibly human. It feels like a goodbye, but also like a promise that the music stays. 🎻🕯️

A little dramatic for Halloween in Vienna — but also strangely beautiful. ✨

🎻 This lovely couple from Mexico came to our team on site after the concert and said: “We need to speak with the conductor!” 😄

At first, everyone was a bit surprised – until they told us their story:
Back in September 2022, they attended our concert and actually caught the conductor’s baton – and kept it! 🇲🇽✨

Now, two years later, during their trip through Europe, they came all the way back to Vienna and back to us just to have it signed by Vinicius Kattah. 🎼💫

A beautiful moment that shows how Mozart continues to connect people across time and distance – and how warm and welcoming our team makes these encounters possible. ❤️
