The Film Festival auf dem Wiener Rathausplatz kicked off with a bang this past Saturday with "The Rolling Stones – Grrr! Live", drawing crowds of fans eager to experience the legendary band's 2012 performance.

For this year’s edition, we have curated a diverse programme of nearly 100 music and dance films, featuring concerts from Coldplay, nine-time Grammy winner Norah Jones, and baritone Gregory Porter. Highlights include Beethoven's 9th Symphony, uniquely performed by four orchestras simultaneously in Leipzig, Paris, Milan, and Vienna to mark its 200th anniversary. George Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue celebrates its centenary, and in honour of Arnold Schoenberg's 150th birthday, three different productions are featured in this year's programme, including a concert from the Grafenegg Festival.
