Yesterday was the presentation of the opera title that will be performed at the Wiener Opernsommer, which will be Carmen. 🎭✨
The company presented its artists , some of our : Paul Armin Edelman, who will sing Escamillo; Leo Mignonneau, who will sing Morales and Dancairo; Fabián Balkhausen will sing Zúñiga; and Natalia Peña Comas, will sing Micaela. 🎶🌟

It was a wonderful evening, generously accompanied by the magnificent gastronomy of the famous Shiki restaurant. 🍽️🍷
We are very grateful both for the invitation to this presentation and for the opportunity for our singers to be part of this fantastic festival. 🙏💐

🎯 NO MORE WITHOUT A PLAN — Chapter 1.9
How to Stay Motivated When Progress Feels Slow

Some seasons feel like you’re working endlessly without “results.”
But singing doesn’t grow in straight lines.
It grows quietly, internally, gradually — until one day, it becomes undeniable. ✨

🌱 Progress is not just:
Winning roles
Getting callbacks
Being praised

Progress is also:
A freer breath
A cleaner onset
A calmer body
A more honest phrase

These changes are subtle — but they are the real foundation of your artistry.
If you are showing up, you are moving forward. Even if it feels slow.

Your voice is growing.
Trust your work.
Keep your rhythm.
Stay in the room.

No more without a plan.

Difficult to understand? Stop and think about it. Compare it with your own experience.
Have you met many coaches who knew exactly how you should sing and acted as if they had a magic wand? 🎩✨
Well… those may not be the ones you should trust.

Look instead for someone open, flexible, and willing to search together with you — because every voice, every body, every instrument is different. 🎶💛

A good teacher is not the one who has all the answers ready…
A good teacher is the one who questions, experiments, listens, and adjusts.
If you see a teacher who is curious, reflective, and open to possibilities — that’s usually a good sign, not insecurity. 🌱

Be informed. Before choosing a teacher, learn about which singers they have trained and what results they’ve achieved.
It’s important not to fall into the hands of people who may have been excellent singers themselves, but who have never developed real pedagogical skill. 🎤

Don’t get discouraged — great teachers and great coaches do exist. The world is full of them.
Just take your time, look carefully, and avoid making too many drastic changes too quickly. 🌍✨

🎭 Sometimes musicals reach young people more easily than contemporary opera — because they keep the musical and theatrical essence that much of 20th-century contemporary music forgot: the ability to move, engage, and connect with the audience.

The case of “Sophie Scholl” at Vindobona is a perfect example. 💫
It’s not only musically, visually, and theatrically well constructed — it tells a real story and transmits deep emotions.

A story that truly happened, and one that remains painfully relevant in today’s Europe marked by the shadows of fascism.
Everyone should know Sophie Scholl’s story. 🌹

🎯 NO MORE WITHOUT A PLAN — Chapter 1.8
How to Build a Consistent Practice Routine That Lasts

Practicing every day isn’t the hard part —
staying consistent is. 🎶

Most singers don’t need more hours.
They need a clearer system.

✨ Step 1: Define your focus each week.
Don’t try to fix everything at once.
Choose one theme — breath, legato, control, language, or expression — and go deep.

🎯 Step 2: Divide your practice intentionally.
Technique → Repertoire → Integration.
Work smart, not random.

🧠 Step 3: Track your progress.
Write down what you worked on, what improved, and what needs time.
Progress becomes visible when you measure it.

🌿 Step 4: Stay flexible.
Not every day needs full voice.
Study text, listen, mark, or visualize.
Consistency means connection, not exhaustion.

💫 Step 5: Protect your time.
Your practice space is sacred.
Silence distractions.
Even 40 focused minutes are better than 3 chaotic hours.

A lasting routine isn’t built on guilt — it’s built on rhythm.
And rhythm is what keeps your voice — and your artistry — alive.

No more without a plan.

Ein Abend voller Musik, Erinnerung und Dankbarkeit. 💫

🎭 October 25th is World Opera Day! 🎶
Happy Opera Day to everyone! 💐

A heartfelt thank you to all those who make this wonderful miracle called opera possible — on stage, behind the scenes, in the orchestra pit, and on the conductor’s podium. 🌟👏

And a special thanks to all the agents and artistic representatives who, with their passion and perseverance, connect theatres with the artists who deserve to be heard — even in today’s challenging world. 💪❤️🎵

Let’s celebrate the power of music and the magic of opera together! 🎶✨

🎯 NO MORE WITHOUT A PLAN — Chapter 1.7
How to Turn Feedback Into Action

Every singer receives feedback. 🎶
From coaches, juries, conductors, teachers… everyone has an opinion.
But the truth is: most singers don’t know what to do with it.

They collect feedback like souvenirs — but never turn it into progress. 💭

Here’s how to change that 👇

1️⃣ Separate emotion from information.
Not all feedback feels good. Let it breathe before reacting.
You’ll hear it differently once the emotion fades.

2️⃣ Look for patterns.
One comment might be taste.
Three comments mean it’s a real issue. Pay attention to repetition.

3️⃣ Translate words into action.
“Your legato could be smoother” becomes:
→ “10 minutes of slow phrasing practice daily on Mozart arias.”

4️⃣ Track your growth.
Keep a small feedback journal — what you heard, what you did, and what changed.
You’ll start seeing progress you can measure. 📓

5️⃣ Filter what’s not for you.
Not all advice is meant for your voice or your goals.
Keep what helps you grow. Leave what confuses you.

Feedback isn’t a judgment — it’s information.
Use it strategically, not emotionally.

That’s how you evolve from student to artist. 🌿

No more without a plan.

🌟 Yesterday marked the Dernière of the opera Eurydice — a production by Neue Oper Wien, composed by Manfred Trojahn, and the final work of the legendary conductor Walter Kobéra. 🎭✨

A heartfelt tribute was paid to Maestro Kobéra, whose artistic vision has shaped Vienna’s contemporary opera scene for decades. The entire cultural world of Vienna gathered to honor him — a man who has brought the operas of the 20th and 21st centuries to the stage with exceptional artistic and musical quality, always featuring outstanding voices and imaginative, detailed productions. 🎶👏

Every work under his direction has been a testament to precision, creativity, and deep musical passion. 💙
