Peaches Copperwire — recreated through bodypainting illusion art.

For this production, the OKAPA bottle became more than a product. It became shape, texture and movement.

Together with Johannes Stoetter Art we developed a visual concept where multiple painted bodies merge into one sculptural composition, captured through cinematic lighting and precise camera work.

A collaboration between art direction, bodypainting and film production.

WBF Online Awards 2025 – Behind the Scenes by WB Production

The WBF Online Awards 2025 are officially wrapped!
Almost 200 artists from 30+ countries took part across Facepainting, Brush & Sponge and Airbrush categories.

As the production team behind the event, WB Production GmbH handled the full process – from artist registration & upload platform to jury coordination, data processing, communication, marketing and the official YouTube livestream.

While we’re waiting this weekend for the uploads of the WBF Online Awards presented by Kryolan Professional Make-up, we took a deep dive into our archives. During this journey, we felt inspired to re-edit and upload a long version from the World Bodypainting Festival 2015.

We call it “The Lost Tapes” — nearly one hour of unreleased footage from one of the most exciting years in the 28-year history of the festival.

Discover never-before-seen interviews, behind-the-scenes moments, and memories that capture the spirit of a truly remarkable year.
Please share it with your friends and fellow artists – these moments deserve to be seen.

Back then, more than 300 artist teams from nearly 50 countries came together.
What an incredible global family of bodypainting.
Sadly, it’s now part of history… but these memories live on.
