Ride4Life 2014: May 22nd - June 5th

"Petrol Ribbon Ride4Life2014" is a unique life-affirming initiative presenting an ambitious road bicycle tour across 6 European countries in order to create awareness for women´s cancer related to lifestyle habits. The idea was developed by two childhood friends who dedicated their careers to a healthy lifestyle. One of the riders- Rene is a gynaecological oncologist and former basketball national

team player. The other rider, his friend Mario, is a nutrition scientist. The journey will take Mario and Rene from Austria via Slovenia, Italy, Monaco, France and Spain to the vibrant island of Ibiza. And for it not to be too dull, the boys team will be escorted by the tour support Monika, who will also take care about their healthy champion nutrition! Cycling, as an expression of activity, endurance and motion and the island of Ibiza symbolizes pure life, joy and passion. Each stage of the tour, the riders will be virtually accompanied by one of our Ride4Life2014 STARS, who will comment the certain stage and present a physical exercise of their choice as well as a favorite healthy recipe of a day. With this activity we would like to set an example and positively influence women to:
1) do sports,
2) care about a balanced diet,
3) regularly see their gynaecologist,
