Tips and Tricks 😀😀 One of the questions I get asked a lot is how to record hardware perfectly in sync inside Logic Pro. The beauty of hardware is that hands-on feel, real-time tweaking, and those happy accidents that often create the best moments. Once recorded, you can then edit, arrange, and manipulate everything exactly how you want inside the DAW. This is a little preview of a remix I'm currently working on. Proper late 90s Tech-Trance vibes with driving acid lines, swinging percussion, and that raw underground energy cutting straight through the mix. 🔥🔥The setup is actually very straightforward. Follow the instructions in the video and you'll be able to get your hardware running tight and perfectly synced with Logic, just as I do in my studio.

Building a track is a lot like building a house 🏠😄😄
First comes the planning process, sketching out ideas and creating a vision. Then you lay the foundations, making sure everything is solid and built to last. After that, it's time to lay the bricks, layer by layer, until the whole structure starts taking shape 🙌Music isn't just about sounds, it's about patience, creativity, and building something from nothing. Every melody, bassline, and drum pattern has its place in the construction process.

This is one of my all-time favourite pieces of equipment for creating Hard Techno, Hard Trance, and Psy Trance. The legendary Korg EMX-1 may be over 20 years old now, but it still delivers an incredible amount of power, character, and raw energy. There’s something about this machine that just inspires creativity. No endless menus, no distractions just hands-on control and instant results. The dirty synth lines, pounding drums, and aggressive grooves it can produce are absolutely perfect for Hard Dance music. This little jam is a proper banger, packed with hard-hitting techno elements, driving rhythms, and that relentless energy we all love on the dancefloor. Sometimes the older gear still has a magic that modern software simply can't replicate.

Today I spent the entire day locked away in Aladdins Cave. 😁For the last two months I've been studying Ableton Live and getting properly stuck into the Ableton Push 2 workflow. The more I use it, the more I realise just how powerful and creative this setup can be. For this project I imported stems from my studio album tracks Ethereal Bliss, Fields Of Arabia, and Luminous Dreams, then built the rest completely from scratch using my hardware synths and layered everything together inside Ableton. What really blows me away is how quickly ideas evolve with Push 2. Instead of staring at a screen, I'm actually playing, jamming, experimenting and creating. Tracks seem to develop naturally and much faster than I expected. This one is sitting at 134 BPM and heading firmly into Progressive Trance territory. Still lots to do, but the foundations are there and I'm genuinely excited about where this journey with Ableton is taking me.Never stop learning. Never stop experimenting.
