✨ For nearly 20 years, I’ve heard it over and over:
“You don’t work… you just play with puppets! Is that even a job?”

And yes—sometimes those words even came from people in the theatre world. So I decided to share a glimpse of what really goes into creating “simple” puppets for a play.

To bring characters like these to life, you don’t just need one skill—you need to be a cartoonist, sculptor, colorist, carpenter, fashion designer, set designer, and performer all at once.

🎭 It took me two months (on and off) to finish these six marionettes + complete with their set and props. The video won’t show the finger cuts, the moments of starting over when I wasn’t satisfied, or the weeks waiting for materials to arrive.

But what it does show is the joy of creation—the passion in every step, and the magic of watching these little beings come alive. It’s more than work… it’s an addiction, a world of its own.
