Tried out Perimas Chicken Masala, recently brought in from South Africa, and it definitely delivered on authentic Durban-style flavour. The aroma while cooking was absolutely divine, and the curry had a rich, comforting taste with a lovely lingering aftertaste that really stood out.

What made it especially convenient was how easy the cooking process was — no extra spices needed, not even ginger or garlic. Everything was already well balanced in the masala, making it perfect for a quick, flavourful, curry night.

At Mithai Kari and More, we always enjoy exploring and appreciating good quality flavours and products from home while continuing to create our own signature spice blends and dishes for our customers. 🇿🇦✨

First attempt experimenting with duck.

Made a pan seared duck breast with a rich, red wine just, accompanied with a green salad and tagliatelle.
It was moreish.
