nd some events. The Foodpreneurs Collective is run by Sascha Dutta, Founder and Freelance F&B Events Management Consultant. She has +20 years experience working in the Food & Drink Industry. Initially in the UK and more recently in Dubai since she relocated here in 2023. Her background is +15 years working in F&B Marketing & NPD in the corporate world for companies like Coca-Cola, Pepsico, AB WorldFoods Muller Dairy and Marston's Brewery. Followed by +5 years as a Freelance F&B Marketing Consultant & Mentor at Marketing Strategiser working with clients like Gut Drinks, Your Creative Vision Ltd, Zepice Ltd, The Spice People, Chimi Love, Yofi bio, El Molino, Irie Sea Moss and Terry's Chocolate Orange. She was also the Lead Ambassador for FoodHack London for 3.5 years ( community of +1300 F&B entrepreneurs) before she switched to becoming the Lead Ambassador for FoodHack Dubai in 2023. Sascha runs quarterly FoodHack Dubai Meetups with a team of Ambassadors with a focus on FoodTech. More recently Sascha has become an Ambassador for Forward Fooding and she is an ongoing Ambassador for Free From Food Dubai. She is also the Co-Producer and F&B Branding Expert on the Advisory Panel for Monthly Investor F&B Pitch Events run by the Pitch Lounge, which she's been doing for +3 years now. In addition to this Sascha runs startup programming for F&B Industry Events and past events include Free From Food Dubai 2023, Free From Food Amsterdam 2023, Saudi Foodpreneur (Saudi Food Show) 2024, Green Shoots (Gulfood Green) 2024, as well as supporting F&B Summits with any Event Management requirements like the Hack Summit 2024 in Switzerland. Sascha also runs monthly Foodpreneurs Collective Networking Events which are usually held in Dubai. Her specialisms in F&B events cover pitch events, panel discussions, workshops, webinars, networking events, trade dinners & investor dinners.

Wow what an incredible 3 days co-producing the Green Shoots Startup Stage Programming at the new Gulfood Green. A big thank you to the core team, Jamal Maxey, Meiraj A.I., Diane Fermin Roeder and Richa Cibbar for all the hours of hard work to deliver this event in conjunction with DWTC team.

Finally a massive congratulations to Sean Lew and the team at N&E Innovations Pte Ltd for winning the Pitch Competition. What a brilliant pitch. I was lucky to get a photo with him and the cheque afterwards!

A big thank you to everyone who attended our biggest FoodHack Dubai Meetup on Monday evening with +100 registrations at in5 Dubai. I've only been an Ambassador for FoodHack Dubai since August 2023 and it was fantastic to see so many new and familiar faces.

A special thank you goes out to my fellow FoodHack Ambassador Diane Fermin Roeder for moderating this much needed discussion on 'Fundraising for Food & Climate Tech: Opportunities & Challenges with the following inspirational speakers:

It was also brilliant to see how engaged the audience was with some excellent questions during the Q&A, followed by some brave startups, who pitched in front of everyone.

It was great to see Abdelrahman Omran, Farida Ahmed, Oz Erbas Soydaner, Maher El-Tabchy, Balazs Lederer, Ahmed Khan, Monique Naval, Frando Sarmiento, Nada ARABI, Paul Mahacek, Yolanda Esparza and Joanne Grace Tan amongst others.

We ended the evening with some networking and sampling. Thank you to Dr.Amineh Razavian for your delicious Snac' N Smile kids snacks and Simon Miller, PhD for your innovative Millermite made from the yeast extract from the UAE's first brewery in Abu Dhabi.

Finally thank you to In5 Tech for being our Ecosystem Partner and allowing us to use this fantastic venue, as well as FoodHack Dubai Ambassador Kaoutar Makrache كوثر مكراش for co-hosting this event with Diane and me. We missed Alexander M. Kappes our other FoodHack Ambassador as he's currently on paternity leave, but big congratulations to him!

It was an honour to be back helping to run the HackSummit 2024, 2 years after I last attended. This time representing FoodHack Dubai instead of FoodHack London as an Ambassador.

This was bigger and better than before and I reconnected and met so many people.

A big shoutout to the Hack team for another brilliant event Arman Anatürk, Camille Bossel, Emilie Dellecker, Coline Jeannet, Laura Hodgkiss and Nicola Spalding, as well as everyone I worked with to manage the fantastic volunteers Fascal Hukker, Fenn Michael Scott, Jennifer Black and Anneleid Linthorst.

It was a pleasure to also spend one evening visiting the wine region and having a dinner with some of the FoodHack and ClimateHack Ambassadors including Dr. Elif Güngör Reis, DJ Lampitt, Caroline Takita Levy, Patrycja (Trysh) Metlewicz, Valentina Suligoj, Marissa Cuevas Flores, Hideki Katagiri, Robin Da Costa, Ryan Grant Little, Camille Aouinaït, Aaron Endré, Lara Nuchowicz, Alexandre Luyet, Fernando Casado Cañeque, Selin Arslan, Jessica Browning 🌱 Sustainability Lead and Abby Stern.

I was also lucky to attend a TechTaste Soiree hosted by FoodLabs and Mudcake to try some delicious food from PROJECT EADEN, Bosque Foods, Kynda, BettaFish and Microterra.

I'm still buzzing from the event and can't wait for the next one!

No investors are actively invited to the Foodpreneurs Collective. However, we always host 1-2 investment industry professionals on the advisor panel and some relevant investors also attend in the audience (because the event is open to the public and our events are well known).
