Taking a closer look at the flame tree flower photo I am submitting, taken on my arm and painted using professional face paint colors.
The bloom forms a five-pointed star with a crown. The lower petals are a shifting, warm transitions of cadmium red, scarlet and orange colors, while the standard petal (or the top sail) stands out in high contrast of creamy white, lemon yellow and deep crimson. All the petals are unified by random crimson dashes.

Seeing so many wonderful face painting designs is truly inspiring. I was impressed by Mermaid designs that were created by participants of so I painted another Mermaid - this time I focused on linework to create a shape of the tail while framing the eyes.

Face painting Mermaids can be challenging because how time consuming the process is; designs usually involve painting a background, a 🧜‍♀️, and foreground elements.
Using stencils is a great solution to create fast silhouette of a mermaid, add seashells, starfish, and any other sea treasures to your face painting✨
I created this Mermaid design free hand, it took a while to paint as I navigated through the intuitive composition of elements and references of shapes and colors of the sea 🧜‍♀️🌊🐚🪸🫧
