A neon sign inside a floral heart is one of the most reliable setups we build, because it reads clearly in the twenty minutes when the sky still has colour in it and it keeps working after the sky goes black. Very few decor elements do both.

No props. No setup. No decor at all.

Just a red dress, an empty dune and a horizon with nothing on it.

The hardest part of a shoot like this is not styling it. It is finding sand with no tyre tracks across it, which is rarer near Dubai than you would think, and which is why we scout close to the date rather than months ahead.

There is a card tucked into these roses with a line on it that he wrote weeks before this photo was taken.

We ask every client for it in advance and print it properly, because the message matters more than the flowers do and it should not be written in a hurry in the car park.

A bouquet is included in every package we run. Not because it looks good in the brief, but because she is holding something in every single photo taken after the yes.

Not every proposal happens in the dark.

A table for two on the sand at Nikki Beach, white roses, ch*****ne on ice, and a violinist playing while the sun went down behind her.

Candlelight photographs beautifully. So does the sea at golden hour, and it gives you something the night setups cannot, which is colour.

If you want your photos to have sky in them, we should be talking about a late afternoon slot rather than an evening one.

This was taken before sunrise, on a field in the desert, with the balloons still inflating behind them.

A balloon morning starts in the dark. Pickup around four, out to the launch site, and then you wait while people who understand the wind decide whether anyone is flying at all.

It is the one thing we plan that the weather can take away on the day. So we always build a ground option alongside it, and we tell couples that in the first conversation rather than in a message at 5am.

He asked her about two hours before this photo was taken.

What you are looking at is the part nobody plans for. The sitting down afterwards, the fire lit, dinner arriving, both of them still slightly stunned and not really eating.

We build the seating before we build the decor. A proposal with nowhere to sit afterwards ends with two people standing in a beautiful setup wondering what happens next.

The only proposal photo that belongs to everyone. 🌅

Not every couple can post their faces. Some aren't ready to tell people. Some have families who need to hear it first. Some just don't want the biggest moment of their year sitting on the internet.

A silhouette says all of it and identifies nobody. Two shapes, one question, one answer.

We shoot one on every job, asked for or not. Sooner or later somebody needs it.

Half of Dubai's beaches face the wrong way for this. 🌅

It's the detail nobody checks until they're standing on the sand watching the sun go down somewhere off to the left.

Pearl Jumeira faces it properly. Cabana, table set, sun dropping straight ahead over the water. No angling the chairs, no compromise, no explanation.

Which is exactly why we time this one for sunset when so many others have to run after dark.

Wear something plain. The walls are doing enough. 🧵

The Textile Souk is fabric floor to ceiling, every colour, every pattern, changing every few metres. Turn up in something busy and you disappear into it.

So we brief the outfits first. Solid colours, ivory, cream, one deep shade. Then the souk handles the rest and the photos look styled rather than lucky.

Also, these are working shops. We ask before we shoot.
