First Look: Anantara Tented Camp Kafue River, Zambia Anantara Tented Camp Kafue River

Anantara has launched its first tented safari camp in Zambia’s Kafue National Park. Built within a private concession, the 13-key property is elevated above the ground to protect wildlife and operates entirely on solar power. The camp is accessible via a one-hour flight from Kenneth Kaunda International Airport (LUN), with private charters also available. Accommodation includes terrace suites, pool villas and a Presidential Villa with private boat access. Dining centres on Luzuba Harvestry and Twalumba Bar & Lounge, alongside on-request experiences including bush dinners, riverbank picnics and cooking classes. Guests can also enjoy game drives, river safaris, birdwatching and stargazing. Facilities include a gym, pool and in-room wellness treatments.

Accommodation comprises 125 rooms and 28 private villas, with capacity for up to nine guests in its Presidential villa. Dining spans six venues, from all-day restaurant Fortuna Table to Grand Cabaret with live performances, alongside a private cigar lounge and w**e cellar at Le Privé. Chapter Chianti, a new 82-key boutique hotel in Tuscany, has opened across a 50-hectare estate of vineyards and olive groves, around 55km from Florence. Housed in a restored 17th-century property, the hotel blends original stone staircases and vaulted ceilings with contemporary interiors. Dining venues include Osso, Parasole Pool Bar and the Main Bar. Wellness facilities at FARM (Forever A Relaxed Mood) Social span Roman-inspired bathing experiences, a hammam, fitness centre and padel courts. Additional guest activities range from horseback riding and hot air balloon rides to truffle hunting and perfume-making. Further additions are planned for 2027, including an outdoor spa pool, Mexican restaurant Hey Güey and The Mansion, a five-bedroom villa with a private butler and chef.
