First Look: Tulåh, India

Set within 30 acres of forests and medicinal gardens in northern Kerala, Tulåh Clinical Wellness marks the India debut of Dubai-based KEF Hospitality. The property features 65 suites and 14 treatment spaces centred on personalised wellbeing, with facilities including The Sonorium, described as the world’s largest sound-healing dome, as well as a vichy bed, watsu pool, yoga studio and sauna. Wellness programmes are tailored through the Tulåh Life Index using advanced diagnostics, including genomics, microbiome mapping and biomarker analysis. Guests can dine on seasonal produce sourced from the property’s gardens, while leisure amenities include a golf course and courts for tennis, padel and pickleball.

First Look: Rah Gili Maldives

Rah Gili Maldives by Six & Six Private Islands has opened in South Malé Atoll, a short speedboat transfer from Velana International Airport (MLE). The island features beachfront and overwater villas with indoor-outdoor living and private pools. Located beside a protected dolphin sanctuary, the resort offers opportunities to observe spinner dolphins in their natural habitat. Wellness is led by Spa by Eleina with five treatment rooms, resident nutritionists and fitness coaches, plus yoga sessions at the pavilion and a dedicated kids’ club. Dining spans multiple international venues, including all-day dining at Juliette’s, Maakeyolhu for Maldivian cuisine and Amrit Beach Club with private cabanas and poolside dining.

W Hotels expands its Italian portfolio with W Sardinia, a 157-key resort set in the quaint village of Poltu Quatu. Designed by Meyer Davis, the property is carved into a natural fjord and defined by whitewashed architecture, symmetrical arches and clean geometric elements. Select suites feature private pools, including two Penthouse Suites with coastal views. Social spaces centre around the brand’s signature W Lounge and Wet Deck, while the Away Spa and Fit gym extend the wellness offering. Seafood restaurant Tanit overlooks the private marina, which connects guests to nearby coves. The always-on island programming brings rotating experiences from artisan workshops to guided hikes.

First Look: Amoh, a Luxury Collection Resort, Rhodes Amoh Rhodes

Marriott’s The Luxury Collection debuts on the Greek island of Rhodes with Amoh, a 197-key resort set on a clifftop peninsula framed by two private beaches. Accommodation includes the 178-square-metre Rhoda Presidential Suite, with a private terrace and pool offering uninterrupted Mediterranean views. Interiors draw on Greek stonework traditions, with mineral tones and tactile materials complemented by artworks sourced from an ancient quarry. The resort has eight dining venues, including seafood restaurant Kymata and Isle Pool Bar, plus sunset aperitivo and olive tasting experiences. The St Regis Budapest debuts in Hungary’s Klotild Palace, a Unesco World Heritage site, by the Danube River. The 102-room property features 39 suites, including a two-bedroom Presidential Suite and Klotild Tower Suite. Drawing on Budapest’s operatic heritage, rooms feature wood-framed windows that mimic theatre boxes. The St Regis Bar anchors evening programming with live music. Dining venues include a Japanese omakase restaurant and a Hungarian-French patisserie. Wellness facilities offer Hungarian bath-inspired experiences, a hammam, a sauna and an indoor pool.

First Look: W Riyadh – KAFD, Saudi Arabia

W Riyadh – KAFD hotel opens in the capital’s King Abdullah Financial District, marking the debut of W Hotels in Saudi Arabia. Located 20 minutes from King Khalid International Airport, the property is linked by the Riyadh Metro. Accommodation comprises 210 rooms, including a 390-square-metre W Penthouse with two bedrooms, a private office and gym. Interiors draw on Saudi heritage, pairing Najdi textiles with desert-inspired stone and marble finishes. Signature spaces include the W Lounge, Away Spa, Fit fitness centre and Wet Deck, an outdoor poolside venue with private cabanas. Refreshments are also available at Latin American restaurant Sira and coffee house Beni.

Inside the launch of the Connections Luxury Council

Connections Luxury Council brought together the founding members for its inaugural roundtable gathering at Estiatorio Milos Dubai in Atlantis The Royal in the UAE. Senior luxury travel leaders attended the meeting, which was paired with a luxury dining experience at one of Dubai’s most famous restaurants. Debate focused on the impact of recent Middle East travel disruption, shifting demand and evolving traveller expectations across the luxury sector. The council will meet biannually, with insights published in an industry report set to launch this summer.

Inside Connections Luxury Europe

More than 200 senior luxury travel professionals from 40 nationalities gathered for Connections Luxury Europe in Barcelona from 12 to 15 April 2026. Held in partnership with Barcelona Turisme, the event combined 2,506 one-to-one meetings with curated city experiences, including exclusive access to Casa Batlló, an architectural landmark designed by Antoni Gaudí. The next edition will take place from 25 to 28 April 2027.

Tivoli’s debut in Oman is a golf-focused lifestyle retreat 15 minutes from Muscat International Airport. Set atop Muscat Hills, the 79-key hotel combines Tivoli’s contemporary European style with Omani influences, coastal tones and views across an 18-hole championship course. The F&B portfolio spans Mediterranean restaurant and afternoon tea lounge, Solé, alongside the Nineteenth Sports Bar and Cigar Vault, with additional venues to follow. Leisure facilities include a rooftop infinity pool and a gym, soon to be joined by Muscat’s first Anantara Spa later this year.

First Look: WildPlaces Kulu Ora Lodge, Uganda

WildPlaces Africa, a Ugandan hospitality group known for its safari portfolio, launched Kulu Ora Lodge in March 2026. Marking its seventh property, the lodge is situated in the heart of Murchison Falls National Park, one of Uganda’s oldest and largest protected areas, within a 75,000-hectare zone overlooking the Nile River. It features 11 canvas-walled suites, each with a private plunge pool, vintage furnishings and natural textiles. Sustainability is built into the lodge’s operations, with solar-powered energy and a riverside spa that uses locally sourced ingredients. Dining experiences include bush meals in private waterfront setups.
