The property features 65 suites and 14 treatment spaces centred on personalised wellbeing, with facilities including The Sonorium, described as the world’s largest sound-healing dome, as well as a vichy bed, watsu pool, yoga studio and sauna. Wellness programmes are tailored through the Tulåh Life Index using advanced diagnostics, including genomics, microbiome mapping and biomarker analysis. Guests can dine on seasonal produce sourced from the property’s gardens, while leisure amenities include a golf course and courts for tennis, padel and pickleball.

Debate focused on the impact of recent Middle East travel disruption, shifting demand and evolving traveller expectations across the luxury sector. The council will meet biannually, with insights published in an industry report set to launch this summer.

WildPlaces Africa, a Ugandan hospitality group known for its safari portfolio, launched Kulu Ora Lodge in March 2026. Marking its seventh property, the lodge is situated in the heart of Murchison Falls National Park, one of Uganda’s oldest and largest protected areas, within a 75,000-hectare zone overlooking the Nile River. It features 11 canvas-walled suites, each with a private plunge pool, vintage furnishings and natural textiles. Sustainability is built into the lodge’s operations, with solar-powered energy and a riverside spa that uses locally sourced ingredients. Dining experiences include bush meals in private waterfront setups.
