For years, we worried about what children were seeing on screens.
Today a new question is emerging.
What happens when children stop using technology simply as a tool and start turning to it for friendship, advice, reassurance, learning, emotional support, and even identity?
AI companions. AI tutors. Cognitive offloading. Cognitive stunting. AI psychosis. Algorithmic influence. Digital relationships. Creativity. Critical thinking. Self-regulation.
These are no longer futuristic questions. They are becoming everyday pediatric, educational, and societal realities.
At The Future Child Black Book Forum on 26 September 2026 at SO/ Uptown Dubai, our multidisciplinary roundtable will bring together perspectives from psychology, pediatrics, and child development, joined by Dr. Alison Burrows, educational leader and expert in teens' digital lives and wellbeing, to explore:
"Growing Up with AI: Protecting Childhood in a New Digital Era"
A conversation not only about risks but about resilience, practical solutions, and how families, schools, healthcare professionals, and policymakers can work together to help children thrive in the age of AI.
Because the question is no longer whether children will grow up with AI. The question is how do we help them grow up well.
300 selected paediatric leaders. Early bird code EARLY250 valid until 20 July 2026.
