HE TOOK HIS VILLAGE MOTHER TO A FANCY LAGOS RESTAURANT WHAT HAPPENED NEXT WILL TOUCH YOU
Ikenna who had been living in America returned to Nigeria and decided to surprise his mother in the village.
Mama, I want to take you out he said with a smile.
His mother’s face lit up. She wore her finest wrapper, tied her headscarf with pride, and followed her son to one of the best restaurants in Lagos.🤣
They arrived. The son ordered fried rice and chicken.
When the waiter served the food, Mama shouted joyfully YayyyI love this food🤣
Heads turned. People chuckled. The son smiled and whispered, Mama, no shout just eat quietly.🤣🤣🤣
They handed them spoons. The son used his. Mama? She used her fingers with pride🤣.
Laughter filled the air again. But the son didn’t flinch. Instead, he gently taught her how to use the spoon.
Then came the bottled water with a straw. Mama tried to drink straight from the bottle using the straw like a stirring stick🤣🤣🤣.
The son chuckled softly, took the bottle, and showed her how it’s done.
As they got up to leave, a man approached him and asked, young man, why weren’t you embarrassed🤣
The son replied
When I was a child, my mother taught me everything.
Even when I said, 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 instead of counting correctly,
she didn’t shout or laugh at me.
She corrected me with love.
Now it’s my turn to be patient with her.
Why should I let her down now🥰🥰🥰
