MoFaya Events is a fun, innovative and altogether different Events and Promotions company, and is the culmination of many successful events and promotions over the past number of years. We have, inter alia, arranged:

- massive telecommunications promotions
- music shows featuring new talent
- full-scale music productions featuring some of the biggest names in entertainment, like Emo Adams, MC Ash

ley Pienaar and the Take Note Jazz Band. We are available to arrange ANY event or promotion that you could conceive, from concept to completion. Whether it's a kiddies party, a protest march (YES, we've even done those, with a 4000-strong crowd!!!), a bachelor event or a corporate promotion, we can supply the ideal vehicle to achieving the required goal. This Heritage Day, join Emo Adams, Early B Music and the Top 3 finalists of the hit kykNET show Maak My Famous for a live concert experience. Tickets are now on sale for the star-studded event at The Barn in Greenbushes.

“We created Maak My Famous because of the real need for it, so that communities could be reached and talent developed” says creator and presenter Emo Adams. "I wanted to make a real difference instead of just making a good-looking TV show. We wanted to touch and develop lives, and bring about real, tangible change. The message to the viewers was to be real too - if you’re watching the show and you’re in tough circumstances, it doesn’t mean your life cant change. I wanted to show that ordinary South Africans can be coached and developed into having extraordinary careers with the right mentorship. This showcase concert is the celebration of that journey. It’s the bearing of the fruit after all the sacrifices, rehearsals, sweat and tears."

"The growth that I’ve witnessed from the Top 10 has been unbelievable," says SAMA and Ghoema-winning co-presenter Tarryn Lamb. "Join Emo, Cheswyn and the Maak My Famous stars on the night - you are in for a big jol when you see the level of professionalism from these new stars on that stage."

Get Intimate with Emo! A rare chance to sit in Emo's company and get to know more about him.

Tickets are selling like hotcakes!

After 30 years in the music industry, entertainer Emo Adams is finally opening up about his life in a new show called 'Intimate with Emo'.

Throughout the show, which is based on the audience, he not only delivers his unique flavour of entertainment but also interacts with the audience members, answering intimate questions.

"When we originally planned this type of show, I didn't realize that it would be such a huge success, but after the performance in Johannesburg, it was clear that there are certain things people want to know," he said.

While the entire performance is based around the audience, Emo still manages to inject some humour into the show, despite the serious issues. The personal touches are what audiences will love the most, with the staging being arranged so that Emo and his longtime friend and musical director, Sean de Vries, are located in the midst of the audience.

"PE has always been our first or last stop on a tour, sometimes even both. The audiences in PE are unique, and I connect with them in a special way that happens nowhere else in South Africa, which is why I've decided to include Port Elizabeth in my limited appearance tour. It may be 'The Windy City' to some, but to me it will always be 'The Winning City', he said."
