My name is Helga Smith and I was born a farm-girl with ballet shoes and a camera in both hands. Growing up on a farm really installed a love for photography in me from a very young age. Today I'm a Lifestyle & Wedding Photographer with a deep love for people & who strongly believe one has to love all living breathing creations in order to be a really good photographer. It is all about respect & love for people, animals & our planet. And I have put my heart into my Photography! Nothing gives me more joy to capture that special moment on camera to become a memory lasting a lifetime. Whether it being the lingering kiss between a new bride & her loving husband, a mother & daughter, two young people in love for the very first time or a proud new mom & dad looking at their firstborn with tearfilled eyes...that is my JOY!! And who has never seen the "odd love" between big Bruno and the tiny new kitten? ;)
Capturing these special moments is like a constant journey....treasure hunting for lasting memories. That's my job and I LOVE it!! I believe a good photograph should be like a mirror. Every time you look at it you should see something new. Something that was not "there" before. So what do I love most and what is my motto? Turning YOUR special moments into lasting memories! Something so special that you can look back on years later and still remember.....THAT MOMENT! Love makes a photo, and a Photographer with a lot of joy making your photo-shoot unique and special, And of course what is a photo-shoot or even a wedding shoot without some laughter and fun! So if you want photographs taken with a lot of love and joy, I am definitely the Photographer for YOU!
