Our trucks are not disposing waste illegally on open land and/or fields. The site where your image was taken is a legal DESLUDGE POINT that we have received permission from Johannesburg Water to dump at.
We share your concerns about the illegal disposal of any waste - human or otherwise. Not only is Illegal waste disposal dangerous and harmful to the environment, it is a potential health hazard to the communities in the surrounding areas. This practice is contrary to our policy as a company.
The image you have posted does not, unfortunately, show the signage on the wall clearly marked DESLUGE POINT. The signage is obscured by the overgrown grass and shrubbery in front of the wall.
This morning, 5th(Fifth) September 2016, we visited the site and took some pictures (attached) which clearly show the signage.
You will note from the images that there is signage which clearly states that the site is a JW (Johannesburg Water) DESLUDGE POINT. Furthermore, we have included: an image that shows the full site and the paved driveway that leads to the site; as well as another image that shows the proximity of site from the highway.
From your post I gather that you travel this route often and would like to encourage you and any of your follows to visit the site to verify what is stated above.
