This week end will mark 3 months of opening up in my own space. Woweezer it has been a roller coaster.
Honestly it feels like way more than 3 months with the amount that has happened. If I stop and pause for a second(which is hard for me) I cannot believe what I have achieved in this space of time. It has been so darn hard, but so rewarding when I reach the top of these little mountains I thought i could never reach.
My team is beyond amazing and they have made this journey so much easier, I am grateful for them.
Like I always say to them "Team work makes the dream work" and it is so true. We are on route to the dreams being made and goals set.
Truthfully there have been many times i wanted to throw in the towel in these last 3 months though, feeling like I was way in over my head but then something one of my staff members said to me recently really hit home and she was like," you cant give up Rachelle, you got this and look at how many families you support."
That hit me, im grateful for this , my team and that I can still get to create and do what I love most. Yes I have to serve russians and chips or normal pastry pies sometimes 😅 but I added my flavas twist, my Rashie love to it and its working. I have also converted many golfers over to having a avo stack at least once a week for lunch.. Winning in my books.
Flavas first big event was Sani to sea and these 2 days were wild, i have never in my life been this busy.
Next event Sardine Run golf tournament, this tournament is the biggest event of the year for the club with 100 plus golfers competing, serving them halfway and dinner for 3 solid days, darn blady darn it was wild. It was intense with having power outages twice in the 3 days. I kept saying to my staff in full panic mode " is this a test, am i being tested? 😅 they once again calmed me.
Pushing limits for the dream, We only win if we push hard for it. 2 big events done for the club and a positive end for flavas. Its a win.
Team work makes the dream work.
Cheers to us!
