Found this interesting article titled the The Theory of Purposeful Cannabis Consumption: in it the author addresses

The stigma:

You + Cannabis🍀 < You (read as: “you plus cannabis is less than you”) as a hypothesis. That is not supported by sufficient evidence. Propaganda is not proof.
And he aims to prove with data that the opposite is true

You + Cannabis 🍀> You (read as: “you plus cannabis is greater than you”)

A brief thought experiment 🤔💭

How many people do you know, in total? On average, your answer will be about 600 people. Next: How many of them do you know use cannabis? Not 1 in 5, I bet. That would be 120 people. Look at your friends list on Facebook or wherever you inventory your friends these days. Which 20% of them are the stoners?

(The success of this mini thought experiment will vary depending on your age, geography, and the religion of your parents - some groups of people are more open, others are not.)

Cannabis consumers are all around us. They are your friends, your co-workers, your neighbors, your teachers, your boss, the people working for you, the people at your church.

You don’t always have to roll one and light it up. Different people have different preferences and the most commonly used method of consumption of cannabis which is smoking is not for everyone.

Just like any medicine there are different ways in which you can consume/use cannabis for your health needs. Topical methods including creams and sprays can be applied on the skin for various medical benefits

Vaporising for example is gaining much exposure nowadays due to to reduced combustion smoke.

We also have edibles which include the famously known (space cookies) these are foods that are infused with cannabis but be careful as “dosing” or the amount you take is important.

Getting to know about the Endocannabinoid System.

The endocannabinoid system is a unique communications system found in the brain and body that affects many important functions. It’s made up of natural molecules known as cannabinoids ( mind you this are the same compounds found in cannabis plant)

The system is involved in regulation of appetite , anxiety, learning and memory, reproduction, metabolism, pain, ocular pressure, growth and development to name a few. (Brief summary😅)

, In Atharvaveda, a sacred Hindu religious scripture (written between 2000 and 1400 BCE), cannabis was referred to as one of the five sacred plants, believed to be a source of happiness, bestower of joy and bringer of freedom.

The cannabis plant produces what are called phytocannabinoids, most studied of which are CBD and THC. Both have proven medical applications in different diseases such as epilepsy, management of chronic pain , anxiety, the increase of appetite in those struggling to eat to name a few. Main difference between the two is that THC is responsible for the “red eyes”👹 /high✈️ while CBD does not.
