What people think an Event and Wedding planner does:
“Oh wow, you go to parties for a living? That’s so fun!”
What I actually do:
• Therapist for overwhelmed clients
• Master negotiator with 27 vendors at once
• Walking, talking reminder system
• Budget strategist (because spreadsheets are sexy)
• Crisis manager with perfect lipstick
• Calm in chaos specialist
The event industry is basically:
• 200+ phone calls
• 47 updated schedules
• 12 “small” last-minute changes
• 1 microphone that will stop working
• And absolutely zero room for panic
We plan for months so guests can say,
“Wow, everything was so seamless.”
Seamless?
That was strategy.
That was precision.
That was controlled chaos wearing heels.
Behind every “perfect” event is:
• A backup plan for the backup plan
• Coffee instead of blood
• And an Event Manager who looks relaxed… because she is.
I don’t attend the magic.
I create it. ✨
And I wouldn’t trade this beautiful chaos for anything.
