EC EXPORT SYMPOSIUM: 22 speakers will address the export fraternity on DAY 1 under the theme: EASTERN CAPE EXPORT STRATEGY. Industry leaders representing several economic sectors in the Eastern Cape will outline the state of exports and the opportunity. Among these are Mr. Justin Chadwick , CEO of the Citrus Growers Association of Southern Africa.
South Africa (and its Eastern Cape hub) is one of the largest exporters of fresh citrus in the world. One of South Africa's most important subsectors in the agricultural sector it provides a significant contribution to job creation and economic activity in South Africa’s rural communities.
Numerous stakeholders play a role in optimising exports from the region. This session provides these roleplayers, exporters, partners and potential investors with a comprehensive and complete, multi-disciplinary view of the trends, new developments, opportunities, strengths and improvement areas that define and drive the export ambition.
