Baked lentil balls

These golden, oven-baked lentil balls are a delicious vegetarian option, packed with flavour and enhanced with . Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, they’re perfect served with a cool, creamy tzatziki for a satisfying bite.

Ingredients
1 cup (250 ml) Brown lentils, cooked and drained
1 Tbsp (15 ml) Seven Colours Grill SeasoningTM
½ cup (125 ml) Breadcrumbs
¼ cup (60 ml) finely chopped Red onion
�1 tsp (5 ml) crushed Garlic
1 large Egg
�2 Tbsp (30 ml) chopped fresh Parsley
1 Tbsp (15 ml) Oil
Tzatziki, for serving

Method
Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
In a large bowl, lightly mash the cooked lentils, leaving some texture.
Add the Seven Colours Grill SeasoningTM , breadcrumbs, red onion, garlic, egg and parsley. Mix until well combined.
Shape the mixture into small balls.
Place the lentil balls on the baking tray tray. Lightly brush or drizzle with oil. Bake for 15-20 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and firm.
Serve warm, with tzatziki.
