SKÅL, JACQUES! ⚔️🔥

We absolutely love a really good theme to sink our teeth into, and this one was far too much fun!

For Jacques’ 50th celebration, we stepped straight into Valhalla, inspired by his love of Vikings, Nordic culture and mythology. From the moody candlelight and raw, natural textures to the subtle Norse-inspired details woven throughout the décor, every element was designed to bring the theme to life without turning it into a costume party.

See if you can spot all the finer Viking details hidden throughout the setup… 👀⚔️

And what would a Viking feast be without fire and meat? Guests will be feasting on spit-roasted lamb with all the accompaniments, prepared by the Chief and Chieftain themselves on their own spitbraai. Now that deserves some serious respect! 🔥👏

Happy 50th, Jacques! may the feast be plentiful, the stories legendary and the celebrations worthy of Valhalla. 🛡️🍻

We know we’ve been a little quiet on here lately… but behind the scenes, there has been so much happening. ✨

We are absolutely elated to finally share that Conféti Events has a beautiful new showroom at Forest Gate, just off the N2 in Harkerville. 🌿

The past few months have been incredibly challenging after having to leave our beloved Conféti House at very short notice due to our landlord’s development plans, but we could not be prouder of our amazing team for carrying us through it all.

And with this move comes even more exciting news! Including our incredible new indoor venue space seating up to 300 guests, set within a contemporary forest-inspired brewery setting which is evolving as we soeak — as naturally, our Conféti ninjas are already busy adding a little magic, sparkle and pixie dust to breathe new life into the space. ✨🌲we can’t wait to reveal it to you really soon!

Most importantly this is just a reminder that, we haven’t gone anywhere, and we don’t plan to… we are always evolving, elevating and finally settling into the more steadfast, rooted confident ,well established brand we have worked for many years to establish… buiding a solid reputation does not happen overnight.. but it can be destroyed in one! We are so excited about so many new projects we are branching out into we cannot wait to share them all with you!

As was the case for our gorgeous pair, Monique and Jaco, what started as a change in plans due to severe weather, turned into a day no one will ever forget. It may not have been the original Al fresco vision, but with a little creativity, a Plan B, and a lot of heart, it became something just as magical… if not more.
