After the Canyon Road Lodge, the next day we found the Canyon Farm yard, loved all their sayings and displays. Keen to turn our one Jojo tank into a bathroom. Again all very well cared for and clean. πŸ’šπŸ¦‹πŸͺ·πŸ’

Haven't had much signal to add a thing to our Namibian tour but here is a quick video of the Canyon River Lodge which was near the fish river canyon. The restaurant was made up like a diner in America, something I felt you could come across on route 66 and everything so clean despite the desert dust. 🏜️❀️

So our tour of coastal campsites has continued. Finally after back to back camps we managed to leave on 25 Oct for a trip to Namibia via the E cape, W Cape and N Cape. Sometime we were with family but 3 times we were in campsites. Firstly Yellow Sands E cape, really lovely, then Elands Bay W cape, right on the beach, needs a paint but still worth a visit and then McDougalls Bay Caravan Park by Port Nolloth. Again worth a visit but ablutions do need an upgrade.
Finally Mon 1 Nov it was into Oranjemond, Namibia and here we tour till about the 20th Nov. Really great to be away for a bit after back to back camps in August, September and October.

Wow, 95 Grade 3s for a one night camp. We really thought there would maybe be some tears but this group were excellent. They behaved so well, Scottsville Primary you can be so proud of your little ones. They listened well and did every activity with lots of enthusiasm, it was a pleasure to host them. We look forward to their great group of teachers bringing next year's grade 3s to join us once more. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸŽ–οΈπŸ…πŸ€©

Last year Riverwood College Grade 9s joined us for a one night camp. They had such a great time that this year the grade 9s joined us for 2 nights. Really a super group who joined in every activity with great enthusiasm and lots of laughter plus a group of teachers who were fully involved and supportive of their children. Thank you Riverwood, we look forward to hosting you all again next year.!!! Best of luck for the rest of 2025πŸ€žπŸ€—β€οΈ

Was great to have our Gelofte High Prefects for 2026 for a team building camp last Friday, Saturday. Such an enthusiastic, well behaved group who did every activity the way it is meant to be done and with minimum fuss. A number of these children have been to us quite a few times before and it is wonderful to see how they have grown. Gelofte Teachers you can be very proud of your Prefects to be, they certainly showed that they know what the word teamwork means. Thank you for joining us again and we look forward to seeing Gelofte next year. πŸ€—β€οΈ

It was a pleasure to host One City Churches youth camp the last weekend of the school holidays. A lovely, vibrant group who made very good use of our beautiful glass walled chapel. Full band, lots of praise and worship as well as ziplining, competitive wall climbing and paintball. A big thank you to Jared for all his hard work in getting the group to us. Hope to see you all again next year. Thanks to old friends Allan and Ally for joining us and for some of the photos and to Mike Baker from Tourism Za for other photos.

On Sunday the 13th the Land rover club came out to Non Stop Adventures once again and held another gated event by us. As we were on the way to the SA Adventure industry association conference in the drakensberg, we relied on others to provide us with videos etc. Many thanks to Rochelle who has sent me some videos from not just this last Sunday but also previous land rover events at Non Stop. Always happy to have the land rover group join us as they just get on with their own thing😁

Come visit the Hopewell Glacial Heritage site. Visit us at Non stop adventures and we will take you to visit there.

One of the most extraordinary geological landmarks in South Africa is right here in Richmond β€” the Lynmouth Glacial Pavement, located in Hopewell!

These ancient rock formations, carved by retreating glaciers over 300 million years ago, are clear evidence that this very land was once locked in ice during the Karoo Ice Age. ❄️

πŸ“ Although tucked away in the quiet hills of Hopewell, this natural wonder is a globally significant site β€” and it’s open for you to explore!

πŸ›οΈ Learn more about it at the Richmond Museum, and
πŸ‘£ Join a guided tour to the site with Non-stop Adventures for an unforgettable walk through geological time.
