This bathroom, dating back to 1902, had vinyl wood flooring that had been affected by moisture and subsequently painted over. The walls were also painted red.
During the renovation process, the vinyl flooring was removed, revealing a layer of novilon underneath. However, it was found to be cracked and stained, making it unsuitable for restoration.
All novilon tiles and the adhesive membrane were removed. The subfloor consisted of deteriorated wooden planks, which required full replacement.
New flooring will be installed to ensure durability and a clean, updated finish. We also revomed all the skirting arounf the bath and floor.
