HEY!!!

So, I've recently started a new job and the struggle has been so real - juggling work hours, family time and all the driving to and from work.
I did get some time off Saturday to do a family photo-shoot with Nelisa Ngqulana and her men at my favourite park - Emmerentia Dam. The weather was the best though despite the cold front that approached last night.
Felt so good to be behind the camera again. Yassss!

Judy Smith was the winner of the family shoot competition I ran earlier this year - I finally met up with her and her GORGEOUS family, Saturday at Farm Inn - a must for families with young children out in the Pretoria area!

I had forgotten that I actually attended both Primary and High school with her husband Chrishando Smith in Cape Town - how insane that we meet again - here in Gauteng!

Connor was absolutely relentless in his pursuit to avoid photos, Chase has nothing but chilled happy vibes, Ahren was so incredibly patient and Judy and Chris both so loving and relaxed - all in all a wonderfully balanced family unit that I'm glad I got to connect with!

Following our autumn photoshoot this past Sunday, I met the nicest couple and got to take pictures of their dear little boy, Langa, who's only 4 months old - he was such a charming little peach.

Taking pictures to me is a normal part of life, I love creating and capturing memories and then looking through them weeks later.

When we lived in Cape Town, JE Hoffman and I would do monthly in and around the beautiful city - when we moved up to Gauteng earlier this year, I didn't think anything needed to change :)

Sunday, we went down to the really beautiful Emmarentia Dam, I was pleasantly surprised considering we don't have the mass forests like in Cape Town. With camera and tripod in hand in my favourite season, Autumn, we got some really stunning shots.
