For Mari, every gift tells a story. Her dream? To be the reason someone goes “ooo” and "aaa” when they receive it… to make them feel the care, love, and passion that went into every detail💝

At Your Brand Solution.co.za, Mari specialises in branded and personalised corporate gifting, from premium one-off items to large-scale bulk orders and curated “catalogue” merchandise. Her goal is simple: to create moments of delight that leave a lasting impression.

Her journey to eventing is as colourful as her creativity; starting out as a kitchen designer and project manager, then moving into digital print, and eventually becoming a Production Manager in corporate gifting after a serendipitous career twist in Durban.

Mari joined Events by Her to both learn from incredible women already leading in the industry and share what she’s learned along the way. She believes in the power of referrals, collaboration, and community to uplift and grow… values that align perfectly with the HER Network ethos.

For Candice, collaboration isn’t just a value, it’s a way of life. She believes that, just like motherhood, creating meaningful and bespoke events “takes a village.” No great outcome comes from working in isolation, and her approach to design reflects that same spirit of teamwork and connection.

Specialising in large-format graphic design, Candice manages the full creative process from concept to ex*****on across both print and digital platforms. Her career began at Scandisplay Solutions, where she first discovered the fast-paced world of eventing, and she’s been hooked ever since.

Her proudest career highlight so far? SAPHILA 2025: a project that brought together her expertise and her love for collaboration, surrounded by some of the best in the business.

Meet Anria, a powerhouse freelancer with over 25 years in the special events industry and a CSEP to her name (the youngest in SA at the time she qualified 👏). From production management to show calling, stage management to styling, she’s worn just about every hat this industry has to offer, and her technical background makes her an asset to any event.

She was introduced to our community by two friends, and believes Events by Her is the start of a true sisterhood: a space where ethical, likeminded women can share information, opportunities, and support to lift each other higher. Her hope? That this platform will set the bar for emerging women in the industry and become the place where we celebrate each other’s achievements.

Of all her incredible projects, one highlight stands out: producing The Desert Comes Alive for Northern Cape Tourism at Hakskeenpan. Building something extraordinary from nothing (and taking home a Golden Loerie for it) left her with a career-defining sense of pride.
