Today I am proud to announce; UNO. A double disk album by MarazA.
4 years ago I was fractured into a million pieces. Many of them still lie with my late daughter Uminathi Nandi Onothando (UNO) at her final resting place in a Joburg cemetery. Life as I knew it ended, but rebirth was inevitable.
This album represents not just the twilight of a mourning period (Disk 1, Uminathi Nandi Onothando), but also a triumphant return to form (Disk 2, numero UNO). It represents both my very real losses, and the wins I am actively crawling out the grave to chase. A face to face encounter where death drew first blood, only for that blood to water a seed that now bears fruit on the same battlefield.
There is Life after Losses, and Triumph after Tragedy.
